Paulette Arnold and Laurel Near have joined efforts to incorporate as Near & Arnold's School of Performing Arts & Cultural Education, a non-profit educational organization. S.P.A.C.E.'s programs include ongoing classes in creative dance & drama, modern jazz and street dance, the Earth Trek Teens tour, in the streets dance team, fall performance workshop, performing arts summer camp, Earth Trek Dance Company and the Culture Performance Project, play-makers seniors, play-makers juniors. In addition to the programs already in existence plans include a in-school program, teacher training, parenting workshops, guest artists in music, dance and theater, more opportunities for advanced training, and the inclusion of diverse culture group of Mendocino County. We plan to have a permanent school site shortly.
